DATA SHEET UNDER REVISION! Using the flow from nozzles experimental set-up in combination with the HM 225 Air Flow Bench, the velocity distribution and the flow losses on the outlet of a jet into the open can be investigated. Here the jet is outlet from a sharp edged, chamfered pipe. The pressure and velocity distribution in the jet can be measured using a Pitot tube, this can be moved horizontally and vertically over the entire flow field. Scales enable the Pitot tube to be positioned exactly. The experimental set-up is fitted to the HM 225 test stand using quick action fasteners. |
